How to Hide the local drives PC Tricks

This is one of the great PC trick you can perform on your PC. The PC tricks is about how to disable the local drives in your PC.Once you apply this pc tricks on your PC you will saw that your local drive C,D,E,F get hide and do not display in My computer.To disable the display of local or networked drives when you open My Computer follow the below steps for this pc tricks....

 1.First of all you have go to START RUN.

2. In RUN you have to type "regedit" (without quotes).

3. Now you have to double click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER option from the registry form then choose Software option in it and then MICROSOFT as shown below in screen shot.

4. After this double click on the following and choose the next optionWindows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer as shown below in screen shot.

5.Now you have to right click on the right pane and choose the DEWORD value and name it as NoDrives(it is case sensitive) as shown below in screen shot.

6.Now the next step for this pc tricks is to modify the hexadecimal values as shown below in screen shot.

6. Now modify it's value and set it to 3FFFFFF (Hexadecimal) as shown below.

Thats all about this pc tricks now restart your computer and see the magic.After applying this pc tricks when you click on My Computer, no drives will be shown(all gone...).

Now the next pc tricks is how to show the hidden drives in My Computer.For this pc trick you have simply delete this DWORD item that you created.Again restart your computer.You can now see all the drives again...
